The Roosevelt Island 2026 Summer Outdoor Movie Series begins this Friday, July 17, with the showing of How To Train Your Dragon followed the next 3 Fridays by: • July 24, Wicked: For Good • July 31, Superman and • August 7 Zootopia 2. According to the Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC): Summer 2026 Summer Movie Series. A series of four films shown at Southpoint Park on a 40-foot screen, includes food vendors selling on-site, pre-film music and on-screen slide presentations.
