Assessing veterinary needs on Roosevelt Island Hello! I am a veterinarian and recently became familiar with Roosevelt Island and specifically, the apparent lack of veterinary care. I’m looking into the possibility of opening a veterinary practice on the island in the future, and am trying to collect information and get a feel for what the community needs. I would love input from those that live on the Island and if you’re willing, filling out a survey (linked below) to help me assess the areas’ needs. are you an independent vet or part of a vet company?
Independent! Would likely have another vet involved, but it would be privately run.
We need a vet and human doctor here! I take my dog to LIC vets and my stuff at Weill Cornell on the UES… please tell me you’re still considering doing this and spreading the word!
