Roosevelt Island Nisi Bistro Owner Introduces New Persian and Greek Inspired Dishes, Cocktails, Mocktails & Daily Specials To Menu
Nisi Bistro owner Alex Razhagi introduces the restaurant’s new menu and invites the Roosevelt Island community to come in and give it a try. According to Alex Razhagi: … We have a lot of new appetizers like Coconut Shrimp, Kataifi Saganaki, we have Eggplant and Zucchini Chips. Those are all excellent recommendations. We have a couple of {new} dishes like Bang Bang Chicken and Bang Bang Shrimp. We also brought some Persian items and Greek items. So we now have Souvlaki platters and appetizers. We have Joojeh Kebab which is a chicken kebab and we also have a different Persian kebab that’s made out of beef chopped meat and lamb chop meat. We have a new Lamb Chops recipe that came out. We have a Coconut Curry Shrimp or Fish for dinner. A lot of new interesting items on the menu. We have a new Cocktail Menu and a new Mocktail Menu aptly named out of iconic spots on Roosevelt Island. There’s a lot of Persian influence in the Mocktails and the Cocktails. There are such things as Rose Water, Saffron Water, Orange Blossom Water that we’re using in our cocktails. A lot of new bitters and homemade syrups…. … We have daily specials Monday through Friday, Monday’s trivia. Tuesday is Kids Eat Free, one kids meal with every adult entree. Wednesday is Senior’s Night, seniors get a discount. Thursday is a beer and a burger night. And Fridays is Date Night, any choice of two pastas and a bottle of wine for 50 bucks.
