Roosevelt Island’s NY State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright reports: Our office is partnering with the American-Italian Cancer Foundation to bring its Mammogram Bus to Roosevelt Island on Wednesday, August 26, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing free breast cancer screenings to members of the community. The Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC) adds: Attention Roosevelt Island: No-Cost Mobile Mammogram Screenings will be available this Wednesday, August 26th, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 543 Main Street, Roosevelt Island. Please look for the bus parked outside. Women ages 40–75 who live in New York City and have not had a mammogram in the past 12 months may be eligible. By appointment only.
