Transit times, service alerts and public events are republished from the bodies below. Where the app shows something time-sensitive, the source is the authority and this app is not. If the two ever disagree, follow the source.

Everything neighbors write

Marketplace listings, lounge posts, sublets, bulletin notices and event RSVPs are written by island residents using the app. They are not from any agency, and no agency reviews them. Mirrored community posts carry a badge naming where they came from and link back to the original.

Reaching the real agencies

For anything official, including emergencies, closures, permits and complaints, go to RIOC at rioc.ny.gov or the MTA at contact.mta.info. This app cannot file, receive or act on anything on their behalf.
