What do you think about when you visit the Roosevelt Island FDR 4 Freedoms State Park? The NYC East River waterfront views? FDR’s legacy? Kahn’s architecture? The peace and serenity of the site? Local resident Tanya Morrisett shares with us a very unique and humorous perspective of her visit to the FDR Park last Sunday. According to Ms Morrisett: I just came back from the FDR Four Freedoms State Park. It was so gorgeous as always! While I was there, it occurred to me that the chairs might be having conversations. This is what I imagined they might be saying. “Fall Is Coming”.
“We Live In Shadow Of Giants”
“The 59th Street Bridge really is the most beautiful, isn’t it?”
“Give Peace A Chance”.
Humph! Humph!

Sitting on the Adirondack Chairs enjoying the views at the FDR Four Freedoms State Park is very relaxing. I highly recommend it.
